poem banana cute yellow smile

There was a little fellow,
All zipped up in bright yellow

He stood so very still
As I opened up his peel.

All bright and sunny, happy,
Was his zippered jacket, flappy.

And soft and creamy white,
His inside came to light.

He looked at me so cutely
And waited, resolutely.

He seemed so glad to be,
Just looking back at me.

I smiled at him and felt
My sadness had to melt.

Thank you, little fellow,
All dressed up in your yellow!
